Navigation

Navigation gives you turn-by-turn voice directions to any destination. VISION uses your GPS location and routing to guide you step by step, with automatic warnings if you go off course.

How to Use

Start a route

Hold the button and say:

  • “Navigate” or “Navigate to [place]”

Chinese: “导航”

VISION will ask you for the destination if you don’t say one, and confirm before starting.

”Full directions”, “Read all directions”, “All directions”Reads out every remaining step
”Current instruction”, “Next step”, “Repeat direction”, “Repeat”Repeats the current step

Example Session

VISION: “Navigate to Guardian Pharmacy, 800 meters away. Walk north.”

(walking…)

VISION: “In a short distance, turn right.”

(you turn)

VISION: “Continue straight for 200 meters.”

VISION: “You’ve reached your destination.”

Safety Features

Off-route detection

If you stray too far from the planned route, VISION alerts you and recalculates:

“You’re off course. Recalculating route…”

Stationary check-in

If you haven’t moved for a while, VISION gently checks in:

“You’ve been stationary for a while. Do you need help?”

Session resume

If your glasses restart during navigation (like a battery swap), the active route resumes automatically on startup.

Favourite Locations

For places you visit often, save them in the mobile app then navigate by voice:

  • “List favourites” — reads out your saved locations
  • “Navigate to favourite” — starts a route; VISION asks which one

See Location Tracking & Favourites for details.

Caretaker Monitoring

While navigation is active, a linked caretaker can see your live progress on a map — including your route, current position, distance remaining, and estimated arrival time. See Caretaker Features for details.
