Location Tracking & Favourites

VISION keeps track of where you go for your safety and convenience. It works in two parts:

• Location Tracking — runs automatically in the background
• Favourite Locations — places you save in the app for quick navigation

Automatic Location Tracking

Location Tracking starts automatically when your glasses power on — no commands needed. Your position is logged periodically so that:

• Your caretakers can see where you’ve been
• You have a visit history in your app
• Your last known location is available if the glasses go offline

This runs silently in the background. It doesn’t interrupt anything you’re doing.

Visited Location History

Every place you visit is logged to the Location History section of your mobile app. From there you can:

• See a timeline of places you’ve been, with dates and times
• View each visit on a map
• See the place name and address (if known)
• Filter by date range to find a specific trip
• Share a visited location with a caretaker via chat

Favourite Locations

Save places you visit often so you can navigate to them by voice.

Managing favourites (in the mobile app)

Open the Favourite Locations screen in the app to:

• Add a new favourite — save your current location or pick one on the map
• Give it a custom name (e.g. “Home”, “Office”, “Mum’s House”)
• Choose an emoji to tag it (🏠, 💼, 🏥, ⛪, etc.)
• Add an address
• See when you last visited
• Edit or delete any saved location

Favourites sync to the glasses instantly — no restart needed.

Voice commands

On the glasses, use these commands:

Command	What it does
”List favourites”, “Show favourites”, “All favourites”	Reads out every saved place
”Navigate to favourite”, “Go to favourite”	Starts navigation; VISION asks which one

Chinese: “我的收藏”, “前往收藏”

Example

You: “List favourites”

VISION: “Your favourites: 1. Home. 2. Office. 3. Mum’s House. 4. Clinic.”

You: “Navigate to favourite”

VISION: “Say a number from 1 to 4.”

You: “3”

VISION: “Navigating to Mum’s House, 2.1 kilometers away.”

Privacy & Control

• Location history is private to you — only your linked caretakers can see it
• You can delete any location from your history at any time
• You can disable sharing with specific caretakers in settings
• Location data is encrypted and never sold or shared with advertisers
