Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure:
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Face recognition data is stored as mathematical embeddings, not raw images
- Location data is only shared with users you explicitly link with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- With linked accounts: Caretakers you connect with can see your location and receive notifications
- With service providers: Google Cloud (hosting, AI services), OpenAI (speech and document processing)

You have control over your data:
- Access: View all data associated with your account in the app
- Delete: Remove familiar faces, documents, or your entire account
- Disconnect: Unlink from caretakers at any time
- Location: Enable or disable location sharing
6. Caretaker Features
When you link with a caretaker:
- They can view your real-time location when enabled
- They receive alerts based on your settings
- They can send you messages and voice notes
- You can revoke access at any time
Caretakers cannot access your camera feed, voice recordings, or private data without your explicit consent.
7. Children's Privacy
VISION is designed for users of all ages, including children with visual impairments. For users under 13, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
